Hi, I’m Taisia!

My name is Taisia Ambers and I am a personal development and mindset coach and the founder of Taisia Talks Life LLC. I’m not just here to toss around feel-good clichés or quick fixes. I’m your go-to coach who’s walked the walk and talked the talk. Growing up in the Bronx, I saw firsthand how life’s challenges don’t come one at a time and how complicated things can get when you’re juggling tough situations, identity, and systems that don’t always work in your favor.

I’ve spent nearly a decade working in various social service settings, helping real people facing real struggles navigate through those hard moments and come out stronger on the other side. This isn’t just a job for me. It’s a calling fueled by genuine care and backed by serious expertise.

Here’s the real deal on why I’m qualified to guide you:

  • I earned a Master’s degree in Ethics & Society from Fordham University, which means I can help you make ethical decisions with integrity and social awareness.

  • I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Culture and Deviance Studies from John Jay College, where I developed a strong understanding of social identities, cultural dynamics, and the challenges people face when they deviate from societal norms and expectations.

  • Separately, I earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from John Jay College, which equipped me with specialized skills in conflict coaching and mediation, conflict management, and facilitating difficult conversations with fairness and clarity.

  • I also have an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Monroe University, where I gained a deep awareness of systemic disparities, socioeconomic inequalities, and how larger systems impact individual lives.

  • With nearly ten years in social services, I’ve been in the trenches with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, offering support, strategies, and accountability that truly work.

  • I specialize in culturally sensitive coaching because your identity and experiences matter, and coaching should meet you where you are, not where someone else thinks you should be.

When you work with me, you’re not just getting a coach. You’re getting someone who understands the complexities of your journey, respects your experiences, and is committed to helping you build confidence, clarity, and a life that feels authentic to you. I’m here to hold space, challenge you when needed, and celebrate your wins along the way.
